The Yamaha FG720S Acoustic Guitar is a classically styled guitar that is designed for beginners as well as individuals who may have a moderate amount of experience with guitars. This guitar is the next step up from Yamaha's FG700s entry level guitar.

The FG720S by Yamaha is considered by many to be an entry level guitar but it still has the versatility, styling and ease of playing that will make it a welcome addition for any individual. This 6 stringed acoustic guitar has the easy playing design that invites people to test it out. The fret has narrow lines and the strings are located close to the fretboard which means less pressure will be exerted on the hand and fingers of the person who is playing. For those with shorter fingers and small palms this could well be the ideal guitar for them to use when they are learning to play for the first time. Upgrades from the 700S include the classic tortoise shell pick guard, and a noticeably more thorough selection of the Sitka Spruce used to make the top. The Back and Sides are also constructed with mahogany wood, a significant upgrade from the nato used for these parts in the FG700s.
